Copper clad steel earthing electrode is made of molecularly bonded 99.9% pure electrolytic copper onto a low carbon steel rod Q235. .The steel rod is a cold drawn to the required diameter.and the copper bonded ground rod is highly resistant to corrosion.The steel rod tensile stress is about 600N/mm², this will help the earth rod driven to great depths.The copper coating is more than 0.254mm at all points and the lifetime more than 30 years .
There are two kinds of copper bonded ground rod: threaded ground rod and pointed ground rod.other type ground rod also can design and produce.For the threaded ground rod ,the threads are rolled after copper bonding process,and both steel and copper are rolled into the thread,make it very strong.
